‘Be My Love’ – block chord tutorial for jazz piano

‘Be My Love’ This is block chord tutorial for jazz piano. Using this song, first several improvised choruses demonstraing a mixture of voicing techniques that utilize chords spread over 2 hands, voiced together as single blocks. This contrasts with the other common jazz piano technique of playing melodically with the right hand while the left ‘comps’ (short for ‘accompanies’ or is it an abbreviation for ‘complements’?), supporting the right hand harmonically and rhythmically. Go to my website to freely download the video www.bushgrafts.com On my DVD – http are printable transcriptions, and a bass and drums backing
